Welcome to the Arnleithen community!
5 friends and 6 Icelandic horses and a historic farmhouse in the middle of the Franconian Switzerland:
When dreams come true!
We are living here with our horses Walsa (the wandering horse), Ljóri (flare), Hjalti (heroe from Hjaltland), Gessa (wife of a troll), Walsa (wandering around), Stjana (star), and since June 2020 Prúður (gentleman) and two goats and a cat in the middle of the gorgeous nature of the Franconian Switzerland.
We look at the hills surrounding our place, we hear the church bells from the villages around and the chimes of the pilgrimage basilica in Gössweinstein. This place in nature with its peace and silence is our sanctuary.
Riding our wonderful horses leads us to the most beautiful places, where we celebrate our livetime together with our friends.

We are part of this world,
part of nature in just being here,
with respect and friendschip,
and our search for understanding and contact.

Why we call it "Samain" community ...
For our celtic ancestors, Samain was the most important celebration in the course of the year. The night between October 31st and November 1st, they intended to unite opposite things, to reconcile the elements, to look for the balance of our world.
From that, we derive our living: community, support in all aspects of live, care about the others, friendship, and deep respect for nature and all living creatures, looking for understanding and contact all the time. Our Icelandic horses are the best companions and teachers to achieve this.
Our symbol is the sun rider, lifting his arms and telling "I'm coming here as your friend."
